“Ever
since I was able to think for myself I've been up on
stage.” Born
in Cadiz in 1983 Encarnita Anillo has flamenco in here viens. At
just eleven years old she began with the Farruco Company, with whom
she still tours. At 14 she made a name for herself at the 2000
Bienal de Flamenco playing a part in two highly acclaimed shows;
‘Metamorfosis’ by Israel Galván and
‘Colores’ by Rafael de Carmen, Rafaela Carrasco, Pepe
de Pura.
Since then she has dedicated herself to "el cante" of flamenco. Now
at 23 years old she has already worked with such greats like Belén

maturity to embark on her solo career gaining acclaim with
performances in prestigious festivals in Barcelona and Madrid. She
is currently working on her first album (produced by Miguel Poveda)
to be released early next year.
"It's a very classical project... I'm selecting really traditional
pieces. I've chosen things that had already been done and I've done
them my way."
Contributing to this project are Diego del Morao, Chicuelo, Alfredo
Lagos, Juan Requena, Juan Ramón Caro, Luis Cantarote, Carlos Grilo,
Carmelilla Montoya, Farruquito, Farru, Diego Amador and her brother
